Short description: On the Felber Tauern, which is an important crossing between the Salzburger Felbertal and the East Tyrolean Matreier Tauerntal, several artefacts were found in the course of prospections which indicate an early use of the pass. The artefacts are fragments and splinters of flint and chert which, due to their small size, have been dated to the Mesolithic period by the finders.
